The day 26 th June has becum the most shocking and mournful day for all the lovers of the art of dancing & singing as we have lost the prince of pop on this day...i just got shocked & speechless when i heard the news of MJ's death... Jackson,was a genius;in fact genius is an understatement for an icon of his stature...i can't imagine anyone could dance like that.i always used to wonder how someone could connect to the audience the world over irrespective of colour,cast & creed..in a word it's worth remembering that he was probably the greatest dancer & musician world has ever seen..may be some controversies, speculation about drug addiction have affected his career a lot,but above all for me he is immortal...i am sad not because MJ s no more,but because he was only 50 ....too young for an icon to pass away..i will always remember him as the finest mordern day dancer & also a great human being...

Slumdog Millionaire- is it purely indian???

the movie "Slumdog Millionaire" has won four golden globe awards,earned enormous praise from the film critics and then one fine day(22nd feb,2009) it won dat 8 precious Oscars,which s the dream of each & every film maker n the world..even people here in india started celebrating it's success...sum ppl said dat its a memorable day 4 Indian cinema,sum ppl said at last our country has proved it's talent & genuineness in front of the world.but is this movie Slumdog........ really an Indian movie??
now dis has becum truly controversial....may b dis movie has depicted real poverty and real life in India and not only it's shown poverty stricken India but is a tale of hope for millions of those who are happy in spite of being poor. but we should keep in mind that except the actors and musical crew,rest of d crew of the movie r foreigners...the direction,screenplay were completely made by sum foreigners...the producer,co-producers,cinematographer hav no link wid India...here only the plot s India and a few Indian or Indian originated actors are made to act under Danny Boyel's(a famous British director) direction based on story written by simon beafoy...dere s no doubt dat these ppl has done a fabulous job ,bt why should we call Slumdog Millionaire Indian??? for d cast,for the plot or for d music?? i don't think dat its an achievement of Indian cinema ,rather its d success of Danny and other crew members...may be the music is done by A.R.Rehman and as an Indian i only feel proud of Rehman & Pookutty's achievements in the Oscar ,bt nt for d movie...even veteran and legendary film star Amitabh Bachhan thinks dat an outsider’s perspective on his home country has a better chance of commercial success than an Indian one. "It’s just that the SM idea authored by an Indian and conceived and cinematically put together by a Westerner gets creative Globe recognition. The other would perhaps not."-he said it in his blog....so i think we ppl should stop getting elated over SM's achievement,rather we should try something better than this and which can make India purely proud of its success in front of the world...

Ajmal Kasav's trial

Ajmal Kasav's trial is becuming a joke now..he says dat he s a minor and d judge has 2 order dat d claim be varified by a team of doctors.kasav wants d chrgesheet in urdu .he even wants buks & newspaper and seeking permission to walk around..let us stop dis nonsense & get on with d trial so dat judgment can be delivered..
we hav Afzal guru happily whiling away his tym in jail..abu salem's case drags on becoz d central bureau investigation s n no hurry 2 speed it up..it seems dat in india 1 can commit any crime and get away wid it....

SRK 's role in kkr's failure

King khan(srk) this name was related wid bollywood.but 4m d last year we have seen dat dis name got attached wid cricket along wid bollywood.i just can't understand what promted him to be a part of cricket.he may be a true cricket lover,may be he watches cricket matches n regular basis.it doesn't mean dat he knows how to run a team properly..we hav already seen his ability to take wrong useless decisions which made d kkr team occupying d last position in the league table.he bought Mashrafi Mortaza n 6 lakh $ bt d team hasn't let him play a single match in ipl2....he invested his money over the Pakistani cricketers which has proved completely worthless..bt he didn't hav d money 2 buy a good domestic player who s a part of national cricket team except Ishant Sharma,which i think quite funny.even after coach Buchanan's wrong decisions in the game strategy he still keeps him as d kkr coach..i am a big kkr fan & its very disheartening for each & every kolkata ppl dat kkr has become d worst performer team in ipl2...and i think the team's owner is completely responsible 4 dis.so i think dat he shud leave kkr ...may be after dat we can't watch kkr playin ipl bt it will feel better dan what we feel right now for d team..
